The Global Governance Institution Attended the International Conference "BRICS Era: New Perspectives on International Management" in Russia
On February 26, 2025, the Presidential Academy of Russia in Moscow hosted the international conference "BRICS Era: New Perspectives on International Management." The Global Governance Institution was invited to participate in the sub-forum titled "Strategic Partnerships Among BRICS Countries: Economic, Humanitarian, Technological, and Informational Aspects," organized by the UAE Trends Think Tank.

In his speech, Dr. Tian Shichen outlined the evolution of China’s climate policy and related practices, while proposing a cooperation framework for BRICS countries to promote climate action and sustainable development through satellite and artificial intelligence technologies. Satellite resources can provide real-time global monitoring of deforestation, pollution, water scarcity, and biodiversity loss, while artificial intelligence can process these datasets to predict risks, optimize disaster response, and track carbon footprints.

On the operational level, Dr. Tian suggested establishing a BRICS Satellite Resource Sharing Center to consolidate satellite infrastructure and initiate joint climate monitoring missions. By combining the scalability of satellite technology with the predictive analytics of artificial intelligence, BRICS countries can enhance climate resilience, advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and lead global sustainable resource management efforts through cost-effective, data-driven solutions.
